Info on Editing and Beta Reading Services:

Beta Reading using notes in Word and a 1 to 2 page critique summary: $.001 per word. For example, an 80,000 word manuscript would be $80.

Proof Reading is $.002 per word. Proof reading checks for spelling, punctuation, and basic grammar. It does not focus on content or correct stylistic or deeper issues within the writing or plot.

Copy Editing is $.004 per word. Copy editing addresses corrections as well as deeper elements of style, sentence structure, plot holes or inconsistencies in some cases, word repetition, character issues, etc... While many elements of plot and character may be addressed, a copy edit does not replace a content edit. I do not offer content editing.

While I am generally available for beta reading at almost any time, my availability for fuller editing is much more limited.

Please note that I do not accept erotica, erotic romance or steamy romance, or very graphic horror. I do not read these genres and would thus not be a very could choice for your manuscript. Standard horror, thriller, urban fantasy, fantasy, YA, middle grade, clean romance, science fiction, etc are all welcome.
